Job Summary
The Adjunct Instructor of Public Policy within the Haskell Public Policy Institute is responsible for providing high-quality instruction in education and public policy. The position involves teaching assigned graduate courses in the Master in Public Policy (MPP) degree program, assessing student learning outcomes, and contributing to the academic mission of the university through excellence in teaching and student engagement.

Adjunct faculty members must perform all duties associated with teaching courses at the post- secondary level, including:

Duties/Responsibilities:
Adjunct faculty members must perform all duties associated with teaching courses at the post- secondary level, including:
- Providing lectures.
- Leading class discussions.
- Writing exams, grading exams, and providing feedback on other assignments.
- Providing prompt responses to student questions.
Supervisory Responsibilities: none
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Blackboard LMS and Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education, Certificates, Licenses, and Experience:
- Applicant must possess either a Ph.D. or a Master's degree in Public Policy, or a closely related social science discipline.
