Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Interpersonal Skills [Required]• Completion of validation skills [Required]• Knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, equipment, and sterile field set-up [Required]• Knowledge of sterilization techniques [Required]• Laser skills/training [Required]• Able to precept and act as resource person and preceptor in multiple surgical specialties [Preferred]• Minimum of one year scrub experience in a multi-disciplinary surgical service [Required]• Demonstrated specialization in one or more surgical areas as determined by Director [Required]• Proficient in the English language [Required]• Knowledge of malignant hyperthermia, surgical site infection prevention, emergency code cart, high and low level disinfection, clinical alarms, medication management, isolation precautions, surgical care of patients age (0-100+), fire safety, AIDET, and SBAR [Required]

Job Description:
- Prepares sterile dressings and clean instruments for terminal sterilization.
- Assists other team members with terminal cleaning of the room and prepping for the next patient. Handles surgical specimens with 100% accuracy.
- Recognizes and responds immediately to emergency situations appropriately.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
