We are seeking experienced Database Analysts to support data management, analysis, and optimization initiatives for a State of Florida project. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in database systems, data analysis, and performance tuning within enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and maintain database systems to support business applications
- Perform data analysis, validation, and quality checks across multiple data sources
- Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing
- Develop and maintain database documentation, data models, and data dictionaries
- Support ETL processes and data integration activities
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution
- Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with state standards
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Analyst or similar role
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL)
- Experience with data modeling, data analysis, and reporting
- Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration processes
- Familiarity with performance tuning and database optimization techniques
- Experience working in large enterprise or government environments is preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
- Exposure to BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
