Responsibilities: <ul><li>Supervised by Foreman</li><li>Perform quality and timely installation of HVAC systems</li><li>Follow company safety policies: <ul><li>Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment</li><li>Know and follow the HAZCOM program</li></ul></li></ul> <ul><li>Present a positive image to customers, co-workers, and others on the job</li><li>Keep work area clean</li><li>Be willing to learn and take direction</li><li>Attend training to improve HVAC knowledge</li><li>Possess and properly use power tools such as: <ul><li>Cordless drill</li><li>3/8” drill</li><li>Sawzall</li><li>Double cuts</li></ul></li></ul> <ul><li>Install ductwork and dampers independently</li><li>Under supervision, assist with installation of: <ul><li>Fans</li><li>VAVs</li><li>RTUs</li><li>Air handlers</li><li>Condensers</li></ul></li></ul> <ul><li>Assist in training of Junior Mechanics and Helpers</li><li>Be able to read mechanical blueprints, submittals, and shop drawings</li></ul> Qualification:<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the HVAC trade</li></ul> Work Environment:<ul><li>Physical activities include: <ul><li>Standing, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders</li><li>Walking and lifting 50 pounds or more</li><li>Forward and overhead reaching, pushing, pulling, and material handling</li><li>Kneeling, crawling, stooping, twisting, and squatting</li></ul></li></ul>
