Job description:
The ideal candidate will not only be responsible for administrative support, but also have a willingness to learn, be resourceful and independent, and take on additional projects and responsibilities. They should possess excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills, the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and a strong work ethic.
Is relocation available?
• Yes, local(relocation expenses will be paid by the client)
Required Skills
• Requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written dictation of client/internal emails (responding & commencing)
• High attention to detail (example: a C-Suite client asks for client info for another C-suite client, the person should be able to be resourceful and look through emails etc. for administrative assistant's information as well if there isn't a phone number available for the C-suite client)
• Ability to maintain high standards despite pressing deadlines
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Strong knowledge of general business and corporate cultures
• Ability to handle highly sensitive, confidential and non-routine information
• Self-starter with excellent anticipation skills; problem solving; follow up
• Demonstrated dependability and sense of urgency about getting results
• Demonstrates high degree of integrity and confidentiality
• Strong organizational skills
• Comfortable working with people at all organizational levels
• Comfortable working in a sometimes hectic, high-pressure environment
• Ability to display a consistent, professional degree of communication
• Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to unexpected events, prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven environment
• Must have excellent judgment; independent thinker and resourceful
• Prior experience in Financial Services support preferred but not required
• Bachelor degree in communications, marketing, or journalism a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (to include advance functions of Excel, i.e. column sorting, alphabetizing, numbering, bar graphs, etc...)
• Needs to liaison with the COO and investment bankers from a communication standpoint to facilitate a request or deadlines
• Needs to be able to manage all levels up and down of the BofA and client relationships (as an example; dealing with a difficult admin for a client, have to be able to cordially & constructively manage to help with the goal that we are seeking, dealing with event planners, talking to individuals at the video company utilized during the Boca event)
