Summary Objective
The Sr. Field Quality Manager leads the field execution of quality programs and ensures high standards for workmanship, engineering compliance, documentation, and continuous improvement across projects. This role provides strategic direction and operational oversight to support delivery, installation, and commissioning processes while ensuring Stellar Energy deliverables meet client and regulatory quality requirements.

Work Location
This position will work out of our Normandy Facilities in Jacksonville, FL. This position is not approved for telecommuting or working remotely.
Work EnvironmentThis position operates mainly in a construction site and operating industrial plant environment. The employee must always comply with safety policies, practices, and procedures. Work is primarily done in the field which could be in a construction area requiring the use of earplugs, hardhat, steel-toe boots, and safety glasses. The work environment could be outdoors, hot, or cold, noisy, and/or dirty.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a full-time position that may require working over 40 hours in the workweek. This may include evenings, overnight, weekdays, weekends, or holidays.
TravelAnticipated travel for this position is more than 50%.

Summary Objective
The Sr. Field Quality Manager leads the field execution of quality programs and ensures high standards for workmanship, engineering compliance, documentation, and continuous improvement across projects. This role provides strategic direction and operational oversight to support delivery, installation, and commissioning processes while ensuring Stellar Energy deliverables meet client and regulatory quality requirements.
Essential Functions
- Lead, manage, and mentor Field Quality Engineers and quality personnel at job sites.
- Establish and enforce field quality inspection programs, procedures, and reporting frameworks.
- Ensure consistent quality standards are implemented across multiple active projects.
- Serve as the key quality liaison with clients, EPC partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee field inspections of modules, materials, and components.
- Coordinate third-party, customer, and regulatory inspections.
- Implement and maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance practices in the field environment.
- Lead and support internal audits and external certification audits.
- Drive continuous improvement and lean quality practices.
- Collaborate with operations, project management, engineering, and procurement teams to mitigate risk.
- Partner with data analytics resources to provide quality reporting and executive communications.
- Represent Stellar Energy professionally during client meetings, audits, and site reviews.

Required Education and Experience.
- 7+ years of industrial QA/QC experience in engineered systems, manufacturing, construction, or field installation.
- 7+ years of leadership experience managing field technical teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field preferred.
- QMS auditor certification, OSHA 30 certification, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, and experience with pumps, chillers, and heat exchangers preferred.
