Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day development and production support for WIC and EBT systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, processing, and integration issues
- Maintain and enhance interfaces across multiple systems including EBT, Florida ACCESS, and enterprise applications
- Develop and implement system fixes, modifications, and enhancements
- Conduct testing activities, including support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Analyze system performance and recommend operational improvements and optimizationsPrepare and maintain detailed technical and system documentation
- Gather and document business and technical requirements
- Create implementation plans and work estimates for enhancements
- Evaluate new technologies to support evolving business needs
- 11+ years of application development experience using:
- ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, ADO.NET
- Web Forms, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Strong database expertise in:
- Oracle (PL/SQL) (required)
- DB2, MS SQL Server, SSRS
- 9+ years working in enterprise development environments with:
- Multi-system integrations
- System interfaces (application, database, Active Directory)
- Experience in:
- Troubleshooting complex systems and production issues
- Change management and code promotion (TFS/Visual Studio)
- Translating complex business requirements into technical solutions
- 6+ years experience with:
- Financial transaction systems
- Data conversion (e.g., MS Access to SQL/.NET)
- Regulatory or rule-based system implementations
- Knowledge of cellular communication protocols (SMS, MMS, GSM, ASCII) and related APIs
- At least 1 year experience with IBM Cloud / Watson services
- Experience working in government or highly regulated environments
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work in a process-driven and structured environment
