How you'll make an Impact

As a Solutions Consultant at Ntiva, you'll focus on helping SMB and mid-market organizations modernize IT, improve security, and reduce operational risk through long-term managed services, not transactional selling. This role is designed for a consultative, quota-carrying hunter responsible for building new business across the Tampa market and broader Florida region.

A key focus of this role is developing new business relationships within the automotive dealership industry, helping dealerships strengthen IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, cloud operations, and end-user support through strategic technology solutions. Ideal candidates will bring experience selling IT services, managed services, or technology solutions into automotive dealerships or other multi-location businesses.

Summary of Location and Hours

  • This is a hybrid-remote role that requires regular in-market travel and in-person client engagement to support sales efforts. To best support our clients and team, this role is open only to candidates who are physically located in Tampa or the greater Florida region.
  • 8am - 5pm, Mon - Fri, EST

What you will be doing

  • Lead new-logo acquisition efforts within the automotive vertical through consultative managed services sales
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities within automotive dealerships, dealer groups, and other SMB/mid-market organizations
  • Drive new-logo acquisition through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, and inbound opportunities
  • Build relationships with dealership ownership groups, General Managers, Controllers, and operational decision-makers
  • Conduct structured discovery to understand business drivers, IT gaps, cybersecurity risks, and growth plans
  • Partner with internal technical teams to design and scope managed IT, cloud, security, and compliance solutions
  • Present tailored proposals that clearly articulate value, ROI, operational efficiency, and long-term impact
  • Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle using CRM tools while maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility
  • Build strong referral networks through satisfied clients, partners, dealership associations, and local business organizations

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently achieving monthly and quarterly new-logo targets
  • Building a strong pipeline of automotive dealership and SMB opportunities
  • Maintaining healthy pipeline coverage (125%+ of quota)
  • Developing long-term client relationships with low churn
  • Becoming a trusted technology advisor within the automotive dealership and SMB community

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of IT sales or business development experience
  • 3+ years selling managed services or complex technology solutions
  • Experience prospecting and closing new business in a hunter-style sales role
  • Experience selling into automotive dealerships strongly preferred
  • Track record of quota attainment in a full-cycle sales environment
  • Comfort selling to business owners and executive-level decision-makers
  • Strong organizational, time management, presentation, and communication skills
  • CRM experience and disciplined pipeline management
  • Willingness to travel statewide as needed

Bonus Points for

  • Experience selling IT services, cybersecurity, cloud, or compliance solutions into automotive dealerships
  • Experience working within an MSP or Value-Added Reseller (VAR) organization
  • Familiarity with dealership operational environments and multi-location technology needs
  • A deep understanding and/or certifications in Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with ConnectWise, HubSpot, and ZoomInfo

The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, and PTO. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Team members must establish a dedicated safe workspace that is free from distractions, hazards, and that is secure from unauthorized access. This includes following Ntiva's IT User and Security Policies that include but are not limited to password-protecting all equipment, keeping confidential and proprietary documents secure, refraining from using public Wi-Fi, having adequate arrangements in place to avoid significant interruptions from caregiving responsibilities during work hours (except in emergency situations with manager approval). Any remote work away from a team member's normal expected dedicated safe workspace must be requested by team member, is subject to review by management, and must adhere to Ntiva policies and procedures.
