Enterprise Data Architect Experience: 17-19 Years Role Overview The Enterprise Data Architect will lead the endtoend data architecture strategy for largescale cloud migration and modernization initiatives. This role is responsible for defining the targetstate architecture, governing standards, and ensuring scalability, security, and compliance across enterprise data platforms. Key Responsibilities Define and own enterprisewide data and analytics architecture for cloudbased platforms. Lead migration from legacy/onprem data platforms to modern lakehouse architectures. Design and govern Snowflake Lakehouse implementations leveraging Apache Iceberg. Establish and enforce medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) patterns. Define enterprise standards for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption. Drive data governance, security, lineage, and compliance frameworks. Collaborate with solution architects, data architects, engineering teams, and business stakeholders. Review architecture designs, provide technical guidance, and resolve crossprogram dependencies. Ensure alignment with enterprise IT, security, and compliance policies. Required Skills & Experience 17+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture and large transformation programs. Strong expertise in Snowflake, cloud lakehouse architectures, and Apache Iceberg. Experience with AWS/Azure cloud platforms and cloudnative data services. Deep knowledge of data governance, security, and regulatory frameworks. Experience leading large-scale platform migrations in regulated environments. Excellent stakeholder communication and architecture governance skills.
