*Demonstrate knowledge of Federal Law (IDEA) and State Board Rule as it relates to students with disabilities - to include eligibility criteria, quality IEP development, manifestation determination reviews, progress monitoring of interventions and IEP goals, instructional best practices, and the MTSS Framework
*demonstrate advanced organizational and time management skills
*demonstrate strong inter-personal skills to work with school personnel, site-based administrators, district staff, families (including young adults with disabilities)
*contribute to school based MTSS/Problem-Solving Teams by assisting with data review to guide implementation and monitoring of the effectiveness of interventions
*communicate IDEA eligibility criteria and State Board Rule to teachers, administrators, and parents
*communicate and monitor quality IEP development

Applicant must have strong understanding of the Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS), Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), compliance, State Board Rules related to students with disabilities, and educational strategies for students with disabilities. Effective writing skills, organization and interpersonal skills are necessary. Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Certification or licensure in a related area required. Masters degree preferred
