Teaching Algebra. Plan and deliver lessons, create assessments, and provide personalized support to improve student understanding of mathematics. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Lesson Planning & Instruction: Develop and execute lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, adapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
Assessment & Grading: Assign and mark classwork, homework, and tests to evaluate student progress and mastery of mathematical concepts. Student Support: Provide individual or small-group instruction to support students needing remediation or extra assistance.
Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment that fosters critical thinking.
Communication & Collaboration: Meet with parents/guardians to discuss student progress and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development.
Professional Development: Attend workshops and stay updated on the latest mathematics teaching strategies and standards.
Technology Integration: Use educational technology and manipulatives to enhance student learning.
Skills and Requirements: A thorough understanding of mathematics concepts (e.g., algebra, calculus).Strong verbal and written communication skills. Patience, organization, and a passion for education. State-required teacher certification or licensing.
