Key Responsibilities:

1. Instructional Support:
- Provide on-site coaching to Pre-K teachers on effective literacy instruction techniques.
- Model evidence-based literacy practices in classroom settings.
- Assist teachers in developing and implementing literacy-focused lesson plans.
- Offer constructive feedback and support to teachers to enhance their instructional practices.

2. Professional Development:
- Plan and conduct professional development workshops on literacy instruction for early childhood educators.
- Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in early childhood literacy and share this knowledge with staff.
- Facilitate collaborative learning communities among teachers to discuss literacy strategies and share resources.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze student literacy assessment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support teachers in using data to tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Prepare and present reports on literacy progress and program effectiveness to school administrators and stakeholders.

4. Program Development and Implementation:
- Assist in the development and implementation of district-wide early literacy programs and initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of literacy programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure that literacy instruction is culturally responsive and inclusive of all students.

Working Conditions:

- The position is primarily based in early childhood educational settings, with some travel required between schools within the district.
