We are on a journey of continuous growth - now looking for our next star - a passionate Testing Technician. This position reports to the Senior Production Supervisor and will work in Pompano Beach, FL.

About the position

As Testing Technician of the Pompano Beach, FL team, you will be involved in performing repetitive workstation operations to test completed units and ensure that all components function properly prior to being packaged.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Operates A/C units to confirm they function properly.
  • Uses diagnostic equipment to trouble shoot and correct problems if they exist.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
  • Follow all safety rules, ISO requirements and build units to the highest standard of quality.

Skills & Requirements

A suitable background would be a solid experience within hands-on mechanical work and electrical troubleshooting, as well as the following qualifications and experiences:

  • Must be mechanically inclined and good with hand tools.
  • Must have knowledge of basic electricity and be familiar with AC and DC components
  • Computer knowledge a plus
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • EPA certification
  • Communicate clearly using written and verbal skills, fluent in English.
