Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wireman to join our team in Jacksonville, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will work with precision and efficiency to ensure all electrical installations meet code requirements and safety standards while contributing to the successful completion of projects.
  • Install and terminate electrical wiring, cables, and conduits according to blueprints and specifications
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
  • Perform cable pulling, conduit bending, and wire routing with attention to detail and efficiency
  • Test electrical systems and circuits using appropriate testing equipment to verify proper functionality
  • Maintain compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and OSHA safety regulations
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and identify solutions in a systematic and analytical manner
  • Organize work areas and materials to ensure safe and efficient project execution
  • Collaborate with electricians, contractors, and other team members to complete projects on schedule
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment as required

Qualifications
  • Proven experience installing and terminating electrical wiring in commercial or industrial environments
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, particularly the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical schematics
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and safety protocols
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and commitment to workplace safety
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including climbing, bending, and lifting
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Preferred: Experience with low-voltage systems and specialized electrical equipment
  • Preferred: Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in fast-paced environments
