Billing Specialist

Job Description

Kavaliro is seeking a Billing Specialist to support a client in Florida.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Receives and imports weekly electronic client service data files from multiple locations
• Prepares and submits invoices through electronic or non-electronic means to ensure processing and payment
• Processes claim submission files and submit to multiple payers and clearinghouses
• Uploads and EDI 999, 277 and 835 files from multiple sources
• Works with providers to correct and resubmit rejected and denied claims
• Posts payments manually when required
• Answers claims calls
• Follows up with Accounts Receivable
• Researches Claim in detail
• Other duties as assigned
