The Tech Coordinator/Computer Programmer is responsible for leading and coordinating technology, digital communications, and operational systems that support Leon County Schools' Extended Learning Department. Serving Pre-K, Extended Day Enrichment Programs (EDEP), 21st Century Community Learning Centers, and on-site childcare classrooms, this position ensures technology resources, digital platforms, and communication tools effectively support students, families, and staff. Responsibilities include managing technology assets and deployments, maintaining the department's website and social media presence, developing digital and print communications, providing technical support and staff training, and ensuring consistency in branding and messaging across all Early Learning programs district wide. The position collaborates with district technology staff, program coordinators, and school leaders to streamline operations, improve technology integration, and support large-scale initiatives and events. Through a combination of technology management, customer service, communication, and project coordination, the Tech Coordinator/Computer Programmer plays a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and ensuring Early Learning programs are supported by reliable technology systems and a cohesive, professional public presence.
