FSU Facilities Maintenance
Responsibilities
Perform advanced troubleshooting tasks for complex building systems such as variable speed drive replacement, machine specific controllers repair or replacement, air compressors control, boiler controls, heat exchangers, fume hoods, lab controls and chiller controls.
Perform network diagnostics for FLN and BLN Ethernet and other communication systems. Must be able to set up TECs and BACNet, P1, ModBus, KNX and other networks used in the control systems.
Perform all tasks as described in the Maintenance Technician position description including basic mechanical, electrical, control and plumbing tasks.
Perform calibrations for sensors, controllers, flow meters and other measurement devices.
Coordinate with Siemens onsite support technician to identify and repair components causing system faults.
Coordinate with the energy engineer and other FSU team members to resolve complex system problems.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and two years' experience or a post high school education and experience equal to two years. A relevant Technical or vocational degree may substitute for experience.
A valid Florida or Georgia driver's license or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
