Scope of Services
As an Expert Developer, you will be a key member of an agile development team, responsible for:
- Developing custom software applications, databases, and system enhancements.
- Troubleshooting application issues and implementing integrations.
- Supporting and optimizing Off-the-Shelf (OTS) software solutions.
- Making high-level design decisions and ensuring adherence to technical standards.
- Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Participating in the full development lifecycle: analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, OR equivalent work experience.
Experience
- 5+ years as a Lead Developer.
- 8+ years of experience with development technologies including:
- Microsoft .NET (C#), ASP.NET/MVC, WCF/WebAPI, SQL Server
- JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Durandal, Knockout, etc.)
- REST, XML, JSON, HTML, Python, GIS Frameworks, CSS
- Strong Agile experience (Scrum, SAFe, DAD preferred).
- Preference for candidates with expertise in modernizing legacy applications to service-oriented architecture.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead development on cross-functional projects, ensuring scalable and high-quality solutions.
- Oversee full application lifecycle, maintaining code quality and efficiency.
- Conduct rigorous unit testing before deployment.
- Collaborate with distributed teams to align development with enterprise strategy.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in software development.
