Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and build: custom cabinetry, vanities, shelving, built-ins, casework, and other wood components based on project requirements.
- Install and repair: cabinets, doors, frames, trim, hardware, fixtures, and other architectural components.
- Read and interpret: blueprints, sketches, drawings, measurements, specifications, and building plans.
- Measure and estimate: materials, quantities, and project requirements accurately to minimize waste and control costs.
- Operate woodworking equipment: as well as hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Modify and troubleshoot: existing installations when field conditions do not match the original plan.
- Perform finish carpentry: repairs, adjustments, and facility improvement projects as assigned.
- Inspect completed work: for proper fit, alignment, operation, appearance, and overall workmanship.
- Maintain: tools, equipment, materials, and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Coordinate: with supervisors, contractors, other trades, facility personnel, and team members as required.
- Follow: established safety procedures and applicable workplace requirements.
- Assist: with project planning, material selection, and practical solutions when conditions require field adjustments.
- Perform: other related duties as operational needs require.

Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated professional experience in carpentry, cabinetry, millwork, finish carpentry, facilities maintenance, or a closely related trade.
- Strong working knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, measurements, fabrication, and installation.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings, sketches, specifications, and measurements.
- Ability to accurately measure, calculate material requirements, and plan work before fabrication or installation.
- Experience safely operating woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools.
- Strong attention to fit, finish, alignment, detail, and overall workmanship.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and develop practical solutions in the field.
- Ability to work independently while also coordinating effectively with other trades and team members.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening due to work performed within municipal facilities.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 75 lbs., climbing ladders, standing, bending, reaching, and performing physically demanding work.
