Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of pre and post award sponsored research activities for Anne's College.

Provides comprehensive pre- and post-award grant administration support to faculty and principal investigators (PIs). Assists with proposal development and submission, including budget preparation, sponsor compliance, and coordination with collaborating institutions. Manages sponsored project finances throughout the award lifecycle by monitoring budgets, forecasting expenditures, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, university, and sponsor regulations.

Serves as a liaison among faculty, research administration, and support staff to coordinate personnel appointments, purchasing, travel, effort reporting, and other project-related activities. Maintains accurate records, provides financial guidance and reporting to PIs, and supports project closeout and reporting requirements.

Contributes to research administration initiatives through policy development, training and workshop facilitation, event coordination, preparation of official communications, and special projects. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with faculty, staff, government agencies, community partners, and external stakeholders while supporting the College's research mission.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and one year of experience; or a high school diploma/equivalent and five years of relevant experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to five years.)

This position requires successful completion of the eSPEAR Certification series within the first six months from start date.

Anticipated Salary Range

The anticipated starting salary for this position is $$48,000, commensurate with education and experience.
