Coach designs and implements training programs to develop players' skills and abilities.
Game strategy - Coach develops game strategies to take advantage of their team's strengths and exploit their opponents' weaknesses.
Practice- Coaches plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions.
Player development - Coaches monitor and evaluate player performance, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement
Team management - Coaches choose team members for competitions, advise and direct all team members, captains, team representatives, and managers
Discipline Coaches - enforce discipline policies, emphasize sportsmanship, and ensure appropriate behaviors.
Safety -Coaches- maintain a safe environment and facilities for student athletes and are responsible for their behavior and welfare during practices, games, and other events.

In order to be considered for this position, applicant must currently possess a valid athletic coaching certificate, or a valid teaching certificate issued by the Florida Department of Education.
