QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Strong financial modeling, data mining, and reporting skills
  • Proficiency with SQL, Excel, DxCG, VB, and relational databases
  • Advanced computer and math skills
  • Ability to analyze financial, scientific, and technical information
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to the prescribed style and format
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, or boards of directors

At least one year of related experience preferred.

WHAT TO EXPECT AS A MEDICAL ECONOMIC ANALYST I

In this full-time role, you'll dive deep into medical expense data, uncovering trends and root causes that influence the organization's financial health. You'll collaborate with teams like Claims, Finance, and Medical Management, developing and implementing analyses that guide strategic decisions. From monitoring cost and utilization patterns to evaluating contract impacts and performing ad-hoc analyses, your day will be filled with meaningful problem-solving and insight generation. You'll actively communicate opportunities and risks to leadership, helping shape the future direction of Capital Health Plan.
