Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the design, implementation, and upkeep of the organization's network infrastructure, including servers, backup solutions, cloud services, routers, switches, and load balancers.
- Promote a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
- Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve network outages and performance issues.
- Collaborate with the CTO to enforce security best practices for firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and network hardening.
- Monitor network traffic to anticipate future capacity needs and budget requirements.
- Report security events to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to documented policies and procedures.
- Oversee unified communications performance and ensure technology is up-to-date.
- Stay informed about security vulnerabilities to maintain system integrity and availability.
- Continuously seek improvements in network service capabilities.
- Escalate critical issues to upper management as needed.
- Encourage team development and growth.
- Provide support to managers and colleagues.
- Complete all required Bank training within specified timelines.
- Three to five years of management experience in network architecture and operations.
- Technical certifications or equivalent experience are advantageous.
- Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies.
- Five to ten years of technical support experience with increasing responsibilities.
