OVERVIEW

The Licensing Application Processor is responsible for reviewing and processing licensure applications for the Division of Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes. This role ensures that all applications are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable state laws, administrative rules, and agency procedures. The position involves a combination of administrative, clerical, and regulatory support functions.
DUTIES
  • Application Processing:
    • Process applications related to licensure within the Division of Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes.
    • Review submitted applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
    • Identify deficiencies or missing documentation and initiate appropriate follow-up actions.
  • Administrative & Clerical Support:
    • Perform administrative and clerical duties to support timely application processing.
    • Prepare, organize, scan, and maintain electronic and physical application records.
    • Assist with correspondence related to application status, deficiencies, and approvals.
  • Data Entry & Workflow Management:
    • Enter application data accurately into licensing and tracking systems.
    • Manage workflow queues to ensure applications move through review stages efficiently.
    • Track application progress and ensure deadlines and processing standards are met.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure all application processing activities comply with state laws, administrative rules, and agency policies.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and records to support audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Other Duties:
    • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support division operations and regulatory objectives.
DIFFICULTY OF WORK

The work involves standardized regulatory and administrative processes requiring attention to detail and consistency. The incumbent must accurately interpret application requirements and agency procedures while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
RESPONSIBILITY
  • The incumbent is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of licensure applications.
  • Errors in data entry, document review, or regulatory interpretation may delay licensure decisions and impact public trust.
  • The role requires maintaining confidentiality and ensuring the integrity of regulatory records.
EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of one (1) year of regulatory experience required.
    • Preferred: Experience processing professional licensing applications.
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document review and data entry.
    • Ability to understand and apply state laws, rules, and regulatory procedures.
    • Effective organizational and time-management skills to manage workflow priorities.
    • Proficiency with computer systems and document management tools.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.

This role operates within a structured regulatory framework and requires the ability to work independently while adhering strictly to established procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and capable of managing routine regulatory tasks in a fast-paced administrative environment. This is a contract job (2+ months)
