OPS-Office Support (Full-Time)- FIN

Through FIN , the FSU Learning Systems Institute collaborates with districts and schools to provide customized services and supports ensuring that all students with disabilities have the same educational, social, and future opportunities as their peers. FIN services and resources include (1) district capacity-building, (2) school-based planning, implementation, and support, (3) on-demand, web-based resources and products, and (4) family support and information.

Responsibilities

Serves as Office Support Specialist to FIN at Learning Systems Institute for students with disabilities (SWD) Staff:
  • Provides coordination of travel activities for all team members to meet the needs of educational stakeholders across the State of Florida.
  • Serves as one of the travel representatives for the team, processes and submits all travel requests, gathers documentation and submits travel reimbursement. Makes all necessary travel arrangements to include hotels, flights, car rentals as needed for faculty and staff in accordance with FSU policies and procedures. Ensures travel arrangements and reimbursements are processed in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for assisting in the purchasing, shipping and distribution of supplies.

Qualifications

High school diploma/equivalency and two years experience; or a combination of post-high school education and experience equal to four years.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Experience gathering, interpreting, reporting, and/or editing information.
  • Experience performing basic mathematical calculations.
  • Experience prioritizing, organizing, and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer functions.

Anticipated Salary Range

This position pays $19.00/hr.
