JOB SUMMARY:

At the highest level, must have an enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, and committed effort to perform their job in an ethical and proper manner. This role will be responsible for managing all the financial information related to a project/projects at their company. They keep track of each project's expenses and provides regular reports on whether the project is over or under budget. Individuals in this position may also be responsible for drawing up proposals for possible projects and informing managers how much a project could potentially cost and/or earn.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Manage financial data and budgets for multiple concurrent projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather data, produce financial reports, draft proposals, and evaluate project profitability.
  • Obtain cost estimates for supplies, labor, and other project requirements.
  • Continuously monitor project budgets to ensure alignment with target deliverables.
  • Work closely with project teams and corporate accounting to streamline financial processes.
  • Process vendor payments and checks, ensuring compliance with financial policies and accurate transaction recording.
  • Manage the expense reporting process to ensure policy adherence.
  • Coordinate with payroll to verify accurate labor allocation, timekeeping, and compliance.
  • Prepare and submit accurate client invoices on a monthly basis, adhering to company invoicing schedules.
  • Reconciliation of bank transactions and data entry into accounting system.

OTHER PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
  • Other duties that may arise from time-to-time and/or are commensurate with the title and position.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Associates, Bachelor's/ Master's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Project based accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Suite which includes Word, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially to a diverse range of audiences and settings.
  • The ability to make decisions.
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to deal with high pressure
  • Flexible schedule to include late afternoon and evening hours and Overtime and weekends as needed to provide support for safety emergencies or incidents that occur after hours or on weekends
  • Must be willing to travel based on company needs.
