Position Summary
This GPS Security (GPS) Security team seeks a team member to lead our data analysis and reporting efforts. Your primary responsibilities will be to develop, implement, and analyze reports to support strategic decision making such as identifying data issues, targeting areas for investment to improve efficiency, determining appropriate staffing allocations, etc.

What You'll Do:
- Run reports on a routine and ad-hoc basis
- Create dashboards via Amazon Quick Suite, Tableau, MS Power BI or other similar data visualization tools to assist our teams in better understanding the data and making informed decisions
- Write and update SQL queries to join data across relations databases
- Perform routine audits of data to ensure data integrity for reporting and metrics
- Develop data quality rules, controls, and monitoring requirements to drive validation of new and remediated data in reporting repositories
- Prepare clear and concise summaries to communicate metrics to clients and key leaders providing management with the ability to make critical data-driven decisions
- Develop and implement recommendations for improving reporting process, data integrity
- Manage reporting information on our information-sharing platform, SharePoint, organizing it to optimize structure in a user-friendly way and helping to ensure data and information are shared consistently
- Learn about the National Industrial Security Program, how it helps protect classified information, and how Deloitte GPS Security implements the program at Deloitte
- Develop a general knowledge of security processes and Deloitte GPS Security services
- Manage and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive and/or personally identifiable information (PII)
Qualifications:
Required:
- Must hold an active US Secret Security clearance
- 4+ years of Data analysis and reporting experience
- Advanced experience with Excel tools, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros
- Experience using Tableau, SharePoint site management, or structure organization
- Ability to recognize patterns, trends, or behaviors within the data
- Basic understanding of databases and ability to mine data sets
- Able to work both independently and in close collaboration/interaction with other team members
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
- Expert in leveraging VLOOKUP in Excel to combine multiple reports
- Excellent ability to manage work and meet specific deadlines, highly organized and self-sufficient
- Familiarity with writing SQL queries
- Familiarity with national security, positions of trust, or personnel security
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail while meeting deadlines
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,400 to $115,700.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
