Responsibilities

This is a professional position serving as a special assistant to the dean of the college. Responsible for managing the dean's office, coordinating meetings, communicating with university leadership, writing drafts, proofreading and editing documents, planning special events and other administrative functions. Assists the dean with development and fundraising. Serves as the subject matter expert for faculty administrative and HR matters. Assists with overall administrative matters.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and four years' experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and eight years of experience. (Note: or combination of post high school education and experience equal to eight years.)

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree preferred, demonstrated ability to write, proofread, revise and make final edits for documents and/or presentations, FSU or other educational organizations work experience.
