Provide educationally relevant speech and language services to include services and interventions in the areas of receptive, expressive and pragmatic language, augmentative communication, speech sound disorders, voice disorders and speech fluency disorders using a continuum of service delivery models.
Conduct formal and informal assessments and in determining eligibility while exhibiting a strong understanding of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), State Board Rules related to students with disabilities, and educational strategies for students with communication deficits.

****THIS POSITION IS FOR THE UPCOMING 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR****
*Follow state board rule and federal law in evaluating and providing speech and language services to students.
*Maintain documentation for state and federal compliance in the evaluation and services of students with speech and language needs.
*Interface with district ESE staff and district psychologists to determine student eligibility.
*Monitor speech and language student progress based on adequate yearly progress criteria.
*Conduct student evaluations and facilitate eligibility staffing and IEP meetings.
Effective writing skills, organization and interpersonal skills are necessary. Certification or licensure in speech-language pathology/communication disorders is required. Master's degree required in providing speech and language assessments and services in schools.
