Plan and deliver physical education lessons aligned with state and district curriculum standards.
Teach a variety of activities, such as:
• Individual sports and fitness activities
• Strength and conditioning
• Health and wellness concepts
Demonstrate proper techniques and safety procedures for physical activities.
Assess and evaluate student performance, participation, skill development, and fitness progress.
Enforce rules, procedures, and appropriate student behavior during activities.
Promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and respect among students.
Keep attendance, grades, and other required records.
Communicate with parents, administrators, counselors, and other staff regarding student progress.
Supervise students during physical activities, athletic events, or extracurricular programs as assigned.
Participate in professional development and staff meetings.
Support school initiatives related to health, wellness, and student achievement.
