Overview
The primary responsibility of the Driver is to help meet the needs of customers by delivering and picking up products in a timely, safe and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

Communicate daily with Colonial team members, drivers and members of the general public; providing assistance where required
Maintain solid employee relations
Review current day's work to ensure all areas have been serviced
Safely transport products to customer locations in a timely, safe and courteous manner.
Delivery process including: packing lists, Invoices, COD & Return processing
Maintain the service and appearance of truck
Follow delivery/pickup instructions
Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
Follow route and time schedule
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaints
Collect payments
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Must hold a valid Commercial Class A Driver's License.
Must qualify physically, and obtain a Medical Examiner's Certificate, under the requirements of 49 CFR, Section 391 43-49 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
Must have a driving record in Good Standing and No DUI/DWI or drug conviction in last 5 years
Previous CDL Driving experience
Professional appearance
Ability to read maps efficiently
Strong customer service
Ability to function well as part of a team
Diligent attention to detail and safety
High school diploma or equivalent
Driver's license Class A
Acceptable DOT drug test history
Able to handle Cash transactions
